Hayley + Matt | Lowertown Event Center

September 27th, 2019 will always hold a special place in my heart. You see, it was the first wedding I booked and shot solo under my business. Hayley + Matt connected with me through my cousin (shoutout to Amy!) when I was just starting out. Before their wedding, I had the opportunity to shadow and second shoot 3-4 weddings so I had a general idea of how the day would flow, what to expect, etc.

I'll never forget the nerves leading up to the day. I think I set out my gear at least three times just to be sure that I wouldn't forget anything. However, as soon as I arrived to the hotel where Hayley and her girls were getting ready, I knew it was going to be a good day. Prior to the day, I met Hayley + Matt for breakfast to go over the timeline and find out if there were any additional details I needed to know about the day. On the day of, we followed our timeline pretty closely, and adapted as needed.

They got married at Lowertown Event Center which was absolutely GORGEOUS! The nearby alleys, colored walls, and beautiful Mears Park were perfect backdrops. Here are some of my favorite shots (some which remain a few of my favorite shots i've ever taken to date!) from their day.
